Monster's Inc.

Does it get any cuter than Mike Wycowski (spelling?) from Monsters Inc. Probably the only thing cuter than Mike is the one-year-old whose mom requested this cake.

The Zombie Cake

This cake was for a five-year-old who requested a zombie getting hit by a car. That sounded a bit gruesome so this is what I came up with. Kaden and his dad are into cars and even have a model of the race car they have parked in their garage. I borrowed the model and made a car from fondant to match it. The haunted racetrack was inspired by that fact that his birthday is on halloween!

The Pumkin Patch

Besides being a cool pumpkin, this cake is also vegan.

Coloring Page Cake

My two-year-old loves to color on anything, walls, books, herself and now that list includes cakes. Inspired by her love to draw I left the fondant on her birthday cake white and bought food coloring markers for her to color it in herself. Everyone that came to her party got to color and sign the cake as well.

The Red Ripe Strawberry

I love themed cakes!! This was for my son's fourth birthday, the party was based on his favorite children's book "The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear."

Flower Pot Cake

This flower pot cake was for my mother-in-law who loves gardening and the color purple. I got the idea from a Williams Sonoma magazine. Please note, this is not a cake baked in a terracotta pot, the pot is the cake!

1920's Peacock Cake

This cake was for a 1920's themed birthday party. They asked for a cake with peacock feathers so I bought a real feather from the craft store and tried to make my fondant look just like it.
